In February 2008, Cornfield created new work on the José Limón Company’s “Free to Rep” program at the Maggie Allesee National Center for Choreography, hosted by Florida State University. Cornfield brings extensive experience to the choreographic process, allowing it be equally informed by the unique strengths and backgrounds the specific group of dancers with whom she is working and the clarity and rigor of modern or contemporary dance vocabulary, making her process an ideal fit for the needs of repertory dance companies.
