Eve Jacobs

Eve Jacobs is a dance artist based in New York City. Originally from the Chicago area, she completed her early training at Dance Center Evanston, and went on to study ballet at North Carolina School of the Arts. Eve earned her BFA in Dance from The Juilliard School, where she held a Gluck Community Service Fellowship and received upon graduation the Hector Zaraspe Prize for Choreography. In 2015, Jacobs joined Jessica Lang Dance, with whom she performed in over 75 cities across six countries. She originated roles in many of Ms. Lang's new works and was a featured dancer in operas at The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, and Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival. While on tour, Eve taught masterclasses internationally alongside Ms. Lang, and staged Lang’s work for the Des Moines Dance Project and American Ballet Theater's Make A Ballet outreach program. Since then, Eve has enjoyed performing with the Merce Cunningham Trust, Washington National Opera, and Cornfield Dance.

As a choreographer, Eve has created original dances for Columbia Ballet Collaborative, Evanston Dance Ensemble, and for Shakespeare's Richard III at Fourth Street Theater. In 2022, her choreography was featured at the Tribeca Film Festival in a 3D-animation rock opera for JuVee Productions & Verizon. Passionate about arts education, Eve has served as an adjunct at DeSales University and is currently a teaching artist through both New York City Ballet and Battery Dance, bringing dance education programs to NYC public schools.
